CLOSE UP is a film company looking to explore our reality in a close-up shot. We are currently in post-production of our first Fiction film, "KMKZ" (2021 - 2023), directed by Andres Hernandez. In addition, we have two coproductions: the documentary feature film "Severa Flor" (2022-2023) directed by Jimena Sánchez and the fiction feature film "Delirio Cósmico" (2022) directed by Felipe Moncada, both projects currently in post-production. Our main objective is to support audiovisual creation, explore realities, to build a dialogue with the viewer. We seek to create, accompany, carry out, and finish independent audiovisual projects with a social, diverse, and ethical impact in which cooperative work predominates. We aim to build ideas and generate content to create new paths in achieving independent audiovisual.
KMKZ's proposal presents a hybrid story built with an independent production scheme. This project, CLOSE UP's first feature film, was based on self-financing, aiming to develop a low-cost production model with high production values that offers different public content, exploring exhibition markets, sales, and financial return.
CLOSE UP unites the experience of its members, whose productions and participations include short films, feature films, video clips, documentaries, and series shown at festivals and markets such as San Sebastián, Intravenosa, Festival, FIDBo, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Clermont Ferrand, Torino Film Lab, RED Studios Competition, Ventana Sur, Bilbao Seriesland Festival, Bogoshorts, FICCI and IndieBo, among others; on platforms like Netflix and Retina Latina; and open and pay television channels such as Canal Trece, Canal Capital, Señal Colombia, ShortsTV, NATGEO, NBC, ABC, and TV3.

I am an Associated member of the Society of Camera Operators in Los Ángeles, California. I hold an MFA in Cinematography at teh New York Film Acadmy, Los Angeles Campus. My work has achieved: Best Cinematography, Jury Prize, Die Seriale, GERMANY 2018. Best Cinematography, Jury Award, Bilbao Seriesland Festival, PORTUGAL 2018. RED STUDIOS, Public Award, UNITED STATES 2018. I have been in 55 The International San Sebastian Film Festival, Film School contest, where I have the pleasure to participate in to filmmaking workshop taught by Alfonso Cuarón and Alfonso Beato, SPAIN 2007. Today, I am working in my Opera Prima as Producer, Director and DP: KMKZ a 90 min Coming of Age/ Revenge Film.
